Men's skin runs around 20 to 25 percent thicker and produces twice as much oil. A different pH, a denser collagen structure, and the daily stress of shaving. Every YCODE formula answers those conditions directly.
The Chlorella in the face serum and moisturiser goes further. Even after extraction it retains the ability to read the skin it is sitting on and synthesise what that skin needs, in real time. Which is not the same on a cold morning as it is after a bad night.

Advanced Eye Serum. Independent self-assessment of the supercritical CO₂ wild ginger extract (Zingiber zerumbet), Eurofins Dermscan, 111 volunteers with dark circles and/or puffiness, mean age 42, measured at 15 minutes and 15 days. Placebo showed no significant difference.

What is YCODE?
YCODE is skincare engineered specifically for men’s biology. Men’s skin is typically thicker, produces more sebum and ages differently from women’s skin, yet most skincare has historically been developed without accounting for those differences. YCODE creates high-performance formulas designed around the specific structure, behaviour and needs of male skin.
Why does men’s skin need different skincare?
Men’s facial skin is around 25% thicker than women’s, typically produces more sebum and has different collagen characteristics. These biological differences can affect hydration, oiliness, pore appearance and how the skin ages. YCODE formulates specifically around these differences rather than simply adapting products originally developed for women.
What are The Two Minutes That Count™?
The Two Minutes That Count™ is YCODE’s approach to making effective skincare simple enough to become part of everyday life. Our core routine takes around two minutes, morning and night, using products designed to work together to address hydration, excess oil, skin quality and visible signs of tiredness.
Two minutes is a small part of your day, but consistently investing that time in yourself can make a meaningful difference to how your skin looks and how you feel when you see yourself in the mirror.
What order should I use YCODE products?
Apply YCODE products in this order:
- Hydrating Face Serum
- Mattifying Moisturiser
- Advanced Eye Serum
Apply the Hydrating Face Serum to clean skin and allow around 30 to 60 seconds for it to settle. Follow with the Mattifying Moisturiser, then use the Advanced Eye Serum as the final targeted step around the eyes.
Should I use YCODE morning and night?
Yes. YCODE’s core routine is designed to be used morning and evening. Consistent use gives the formulas the best opportunity to improve the condition and appearance of your skin over time.
What does the Hydrating Face Serum do?
The Hydrating Face Serum is a lightweight, water-based formula designed to work within the skin to support hydration, texture, tone and the skin barrier. It contains ingredients including niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, prebiotics, a biomimetic peptide and biologically intelligent microalgae.
It is applied first so its concentrated ingredients have direct contact with clean skin before the moisturiser is applied.
What does the Mattifying Moisturiser do?
The Mattifying Moisturiser hydrates and supports the skin barrier while helping to balance excess oil and reduce unwanted shine. Rice starch provides an immediate mattifying effect, while the wider formula is designed to improve the condition of the skin with continued use.
The result is intentionally a natural matte finish rather than skin that looks flat, powdered or dry.
What does the Advanced Eye Serum do?
The Advanced Eye Serum is a targeted treatment developed to address the visible signs of tiredness around the eyes. It helps reduce the appearance of dark circles, puffiness and fine lines while improving hydration and brightness.
It is designed to be undetectable on the skin and is applied as the final step in the YCODE routine.
How quickly will I see results from YCODE?
Some benefits can be visible quickly. The Advanced Eye Serum can help reduce the appearance of puffiness within minutes, while the Mattifying Moisturiser provides an immediate reduction in surface shine.
Other benefits come from consistent use as the formulas work to improve hydration, skin barrier function, tone, texture and overall skin quality over time.
Can women use YCODE?
Yes. YCODE is engineered around male skin biology, but there is nothing that prevents women from using the products. Women who enjoy the formulas and finishes can use them too.
Is YCODE suitable for dry or oily skin?
YCODE is designed to support skin balance rather than treating hydration and oil as opposites. Oily skin can still be dehydrated, while overly aggressive products can strip the skin and leave it feeling uncomfortable.
The Hydrating Face Serum provides lightweight hydration, while the Mattifying Moisturiser helps manage excess surface oil without deliberately drying the skin.
Do I need to cleanse before using YCODE?
Yes. We recommend cleansing morning and evening before applying your YCODE routine. Use a gentle cleanser that removes excess oil and impurities without stripping the skin barrier or leaving the skin feeling tight.
Does YCODE contain SPF?
YCODE’s current core skincare products do not contain SPF. We have deliberately kept daily skincare and sun protection separate so each formula can perform its specific job effectively.
When sun protection is required, apply an appropriate SPF alongside your skincare routine.
I’ve never really used skincare. Where should I start?
You do not need a complicated routine.
If you want the complete YCODE approach, start with the Advanced Routine: Hydrating Face Serum, Mattifying Moisturiser and Advanced Eye Serum, used in that order morning and evening.
If you prefer to start smaller, choose the product that addresses what you notice most about your skin today and build from there.
